Driven by innovation, at Airush Kiteboarding our aim is to deliver high-performance products to our customers while ensuring that all of our products are durable and sustainable. By utilizing more sustainable materials, we both increase the durability of our products, while decreasing our impact on the environment.Our surf directional range consists of 3 boards,available in d 2 constructions. The two different types of surf directional constructions are Reflex Glass and Reflex Carbon constructions.
REFLEX GLASS CONSTRUCTION:
– High density PET sandwich top & bottom
– Lightweight fused EPS core
– Durable High reflex glass laminate
This combines progressive flex in a durable glass construction. Our lightweight fused EPS core utilizes a unique molding process to create an extremely light center with durable outer skin. This is then sandwiched with a high-density PET top and bottom layer, followed by a full glass laminate and durable topsheet.
REFLEX CARBON CONSTRUCTION:
– High density PET sandwich top & bottom
– Lightweight fused EPS core
– Responsive & Lightweight full biaxial carbon laminate
Our lightest performance construction developed for optimum flex and response. The lightweight fused EPS core utilizes a unique molding process to create an extremely light center, with a durable dense outer skin. This is then sandwiched with a high-density PET top and bottom layer, followed by a durable and flexible carbon laminate. Directional boards are similar to a surfboard, which perform best in one direction and have a clearly identifiable nose and tail. The main difference between a directional board and a surfboard lies within the construction. A Directional Board will have more reinforcing under foot, which affects not only the durability but also the performance and overall feel.
