Hydrofoil surfing on a Tidal Bore – Keahi de Aboitiz and Theo Demanez

Foil surfing a tidal bore had always been a dream of mine so when Theo asked me if I wanted to join him on a trip to France to try it out, I couldn’t resist. What we found was a perfect swell that winds its way down the river and feels like it goes forever. Hands down one of the funnest but also most stressful waves I’ve ever foiled. Huge thanks to everyone that made this trip epic!
