Lanzarote PKRA Wave – Congrats to Keahi de Aboitiz

Here is a broadcast about the PKRA Wave event in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.

Keahi de Aboitiz is leading the overall standing following to his both victories here and in Dakhla the week before. The rising waterman made a strong impression with surf ratings close to the perfect score in the world class waves of Dakhla. Then in Lanzarote he was challenged for a short time by Fabio Nunes at Caleta, just before ending the suspense by winning the super final.

In Straplesskitesurfing.com, we were curious to know what advantages are taking riders by riding strapless to perform in their PKRA heats. In this video, we learn about the judging criterions: wave choice, speed, verticality (turns at twelve o’clock), hit the most critical part of the wave (a very important criterion) and controlled tricks.
