Brazil in search of titles and new waves

The Pena athlete Jamil Farah participated at the first step of the Paraiba competition this weekend in Intermares beach in João Pessoa (PB). Jamil ranked 3d in Open category behind his mates Alberto Junior and Anderson Santos.

The event was a mix of kitesurfing, sustainable development and culture, including a show with the band “Planta e Raiz”.

During those days Jamil trained, gave some kite lessons and explored the coast of Brazil in search of the best places for the practice of kitewave.

Jamil took the opportunity to visit the Camaratuba Bar Beach, about 120 km from the capital and 100 km from praia da Pipa, Rio grande do Norte,  a peak where roll good winds and a mind-blowing place.

“This trip was very important to my evolution, because I was able to train with high level athletes. I am very happy to have well represented  my sponsor, Pena here in Paraiba. I hope I can bring better results in the coming events. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement” said Jamil.

Jamil spent the weekend training and filming with friends Alberto Junior  and Anderson Santos.

The athlete is still in João Pessoa, he will join Maracaipe,south of Recife for another event, the Mahalo Pernambuco Summer Festival.
