there are no style, it’s not basic grab!!!!
To do a basic grab you must have some style, some stance and you must respect a pause for
the PHOTO, you must looklike a bird and have a light attitude.
@ revessat you’re talking absolute nonsense and you shouldn’t disregard this Lady. Send pics of your bird attitude, doin a fat air grab to this website and you’ll be for sure a hero 😉
Hi Alfonso, I just noticed the questions here. Yes the kite is at 12:00, on that jump. The wind is almost straight offshore on the shots with the small waves, so I couldn’t really push the bottom of the board into the wind, and you can see it wobble quite a bit.
Revessat, this is meant to be a ‘basic’ tutorial on one of the easiest grabs to accomplish. Not really addressing style, as I myself am a novice at this, but was asked to create a video for an online magazine.
Wow the first time I read the comments… Why don’t people either learn from it or move on. Definitely a good tutorial on learning strapless grabs, I felt like I was there. I just have to learn how to push the board into the wind a bit more so it doesn’t kick flip on me.
Nice instructional vid, quick question, it looks like your kite is at 12 o’clock on the 35″ mark, after you hit the lip, is this correct?
