2014 Winds Season - 1st stage of the Ceará tour - Celio Beleza // Strapless kitesurfing - Strapless Kitesurfing

Big up to Celio Beleza who won the Professional and Master division of the 2014 Winds Season, event valid for the first stage of Ceará tour in the WAVES.

The 1st stage of the 2014 Winds Season was closed on Saturday, with good wind and waves conditions in classical Praia do Futuro beach. The event received great cearenses names in Kitesurfing, Windsurfing and Stand Up Paddle, all in wave.

In the qualifying, which happened on friday, we had a little waves and weak winds, causing riders would use its entire arsenal of equipment. On saturday the wind came with great pressure, with heavy waves leaving the most exciting and contested finals.

The location of the competition was in the Guarderia Brazil. The boardriders Teka Lens, Lens Levi and Fred Jean opened the doors of point and received all riders, judges and AKC and ABWS staff, who gave technical support to the event.

Celio Beleza won the Kitesurf Pro, leaving João Carlos, rider who has grown rapidly the level of competition at each stage in second and Gustavo Foerster and Bruno Lima in third.

In Kitesurf Master, Celio Beleza was a day of much inspiration winning first place again. Second was Fred Jean with a great backside and third Gilberto Gouveia also hit good hits at the junction, leaving a bitter dispute.

Great riders completed the brightness of the competition, as Ygon Maia, Lucas Evangelista, Thiago Accioly, which showed a strong and competitive backside. Thiago Martins and João Carlos also showed good hits in the critical and who have seen it all this year. Celio Beleza is in broad technical evolution and is considered one of the big favorites for the title of Ceará tour in two divisions. Many other riders that are also shown with surf in the foot and ready for competition. For sure the most important thing is to gather all these guys in a big party in favor of Ceará kitesurf.

In Stand Up Paddle, consisting of paddling a surfboard standing with the aid of an oar, had Geraldo Lemos as the great champion, Ygon Maia the second, Gustavo Foerster in third and Laércio Clayton in the fourth. Confirm presence at the first stage Heyner Fortunato, Thiago Rocha, Paulo Marcelo, among others.

The local of the Praia do Futuro beach Lens Levi, was the highlight in Windsurfing division, winning the highest place on the podium.
