The 2017 season marks the beginning of a new era in kiting. With the introduction of Quad-Tex—our exclusive, 4x-reinforced ripstop that surpasses all other canopy materials on the market in strength, pull and durability—our new kites are the strongest, most responsive available.
Also new to the kite line is the smooth, yet responsive, wave-dedicated Slash, which delivers huge on versatility and easily adapts to a variety of conditions. Other upgrades were made to our already successful kite ranges—including the addition of the ESP adaptive bridle system, which heightens the accessibility of the Torch.
The product of extensive engineering, prototyping, testing and perfecting, the new Torque Control System is the most advanced, function-rich trim line system to date. Effortless to operate, this patented push-away quick release mechanism features a streamlined design with a ball bearing swivel for tangle-free lines and a linear release force for consistently smooth operation regardless of line tension.
Our new Hover Hydrofoil and Foilboards enter the market as the user-friendly system that gets kiters foiling quickly and easily. Stable and quick-to-plane, the complete setup features a 3-mast system that allows riders to swap out mast lengths as they advance. The additions of the Stomp and Drive round out the high-performance end of our twin tip line with uber-lightweight, responsive shapes for experienced freestyle and freeride riders. We’ve even updated our tremendously popular bindings with an industry-first double-molded surface texture (with two different densities) making the Apex II the grippiest, most comfortable binding yet.
