Celio Beleza – Test drive

With the constant evolution of the sport, the concepts of kitewave boards have begun to modernize to accompany and further enhance the synergy between surf, kite and boardsports in general.

I am currently using a low density EPS (styrofoam) board without nozzle, with a more angled tail and support for five keels. I confess that I surprised the design in the beginning, but in the water I was surprised by a lighter, sturdy construction with a hydrodynamics that provides more speed and fluidity in the maneuvers. A great choice when it is necessary to use more of the edges of the board and break a little more movement, a condition that usually meets in seas with small waves.

The result of this project is linked to the know-how of César Peixoto, one of the main shapers in the Brazil, who has been helping me in the constant search for combinations of designs, size and configuration of keels in the most diverse wave conditions around the world.
