Apocalypse FREERIDE – Tom Court

I have always wanted to show kiteboarding or indeed any sport that I do at its best, and in this video I set out to ‘ride the apocalypse’ after the world has collapsed from the release of a deadly virus, it seems that we are living in the age of science fact rather than science fiction. However there is still hope the mankind, and that hope is the knowledge the some things will never change, despite what is going on around us. That constant is that getting on the water, outside on a board or just out in the wind will continue to deliver what we need!! Health, fitness and the ability to keep shredding will always be with us…

 

Although 2020 has been a crazy time for many of us, there is always hope on the horizon… even if that is just a good wind forecast!! In this clip I use my GoPro to explore some different angles, crazy spots, race drones, line mounts, POV, and hand held… Kitesurfing is more than just a sport, its an escape, a way to transcend your everyday reality and find yourself above your normal problems… Goodbye Covid… you have been shredded away 😉
